Old Work Vehicles

Some of Keeley's best work came on his own vehicles! After all, the best endorsement is to use your own product.

Harry Potter Beanbag Toss

Not all of Keeley's projects involve cars and motorcycles!

Here is an example of work he did in the summer of 2004 for a local elementary school's fall festival. Keeley cut the holes in this board, built a stand for it, and airbrushed this scene, before delivering it!

Students would walk up to the booth, present their tickets, and get a chance to throw a bean bag through one of the holes for a prize!

Real Fire

This effect is known as "real fire," and has been practiced by Keeley for decades!  Real fire differs from typical flames in that it is designed to make the surface appear as though it is actually burning.

This trend started back in the 1970's. I asked him how many real fire projects he's worked on, just to give our readers a perspective as to his level of expertise.

His response was, "Son, you do know I've been in business for over 40 years, don't you?"

While we may not have an exact number, Keeley has painted real fire on cars and motorcycles alike! If this looks like something you're  interested in, contact Keeley at (615) 578-4431 today!

Revisiting the flamed Hummer limo...

Here's something I'll bet you missed the first time you saw this photograph...it's something I even missed, before Keeley corrected me.

I knew I instantly had to share this.

Take a closer look at the area within the yellow circle on this revised picture. You will see two pirates sword-fighting.

This detail completely blew me away, and is a breathtaking glimpse into the creativity of Keeley.

If you want a similar job done, or just want to call to tell Keeley what an awesome detail this is, call (615) 578-4431 today!

Flamed Hummer Limo!

Riding to your big event in a stretch-Hummer limo not extravagant enough? Why don't you add some flames to it!?

This is a job Keeley took on in 2012, and is a perfect example of how astonishingly realistic the man can make flames look on a vehicle.

One thing's for sure...you won't see too many of these cruising the streets of Nashville, and when you do, you certainly won't forget it.

Airbrushed Mustang

This project was completed during the summer of 2004, and is a good example of Keeley's ability to completely revamp a car.

When this Ford Mustang arrived at the shop, it was silver! Keeley painted the entire car black, installed the body kit, and did all of the silver airbrushing to make this a completely new look for the customer.

Tribal Stripes

Showcasing what is somewhat of a new trend in the custom paint community, this motorcycle (painted in 2011) displays what are known as "tribal stripes."

You could think of a tribal striped-design as a combination of flames and scallops.

And how about a picture of the man himself in action? Here you'll see Keeley putting the final touches on another successful paintjob!

Tennessee State Flag Motorcycle

If you've ever visited the Southeastern United States, you learn instantly that "Southern hospitality" is very much alive and thriving!

In 2005, Keeley met a customer who wanted to express pride in his home state, and here is the result!

A tank and fender painted to resemble the state flag of Tennessee.

Don't worry....we aren't biased strictly to the South. If you want an Alaskan state flag, we can do it! Call (615) 578-4431 to speak with Keeley and discuss the possibilities today!

Restoration

Here's a special project Keeley is working on for Keifer Thompson of country music duo, Thompson Square.

When this 1971 Bronco was brought to Keeley's shop, it was white with a lot of work to be done. First, the truck was painted in a satin black finish. The crew put black hammered chrome and emblems on the truck, as well as hammered star plating. The exterior top was refinished with a spray-on bedliner, which accents the satin black of the body. This exemplifies the old-school, "black on black on black" look.

The suspension was rebuilt to safer specs to keep Keifer & his family safe while traveling on busy roads and highways.

Helmets

Keeley has amassed quite the portfolio of motorcycle work, but what some customers don't realize is that he can tackle all of your accessories as well!

The image above is a collage of (mostly) helmets Keeley has painted over the course of his career. You'll also see a racing trailer and a promotional sign in the mix.

Whether you want your helmet airbrushed, pinstriped, or just painted with a new color, Keeley can make your wish come true!

When I visited Keeley's shop to take a look at some of his artwork, I asked him about this collage in particular and if he had any interesting stories to share.

As usual, he did not disappoint!

Years and years ago, one of his work-trucks was featured in Airbrush magazine. Evidently, his art had reached someone in Spain who wanted him to paint a motorcycle helmet.

So, the man mailed his helmet all the way to Nashville, TN with a letter and some photographs of a specific design style. There was one minor problem...the letter was written entirely in Spanish.

Keeley is perfectly fluent in the southern rendition of the English language, but Spanish? Not so much.

Amazingly, he took the photos the man had sent and painted his helmet to match that style exactly. He then shipped it back to another satisfied customer, all the way across the Atlantic Ocean

Does this sound interesting to you? Call (615) 578-4431 and bounce some ideas around with Keeley! He does accept similar mail-in orders..

Just remember, you may want to print your letter in English... ;)

Motorcycle Painting

Here's a quick look at some motorcycle work Keeley did back in 2011.

The Work Van

If you live anywhere in the Nashville metropolitan area, you have likely seen this van buzzing about town.

Rather he's picking up supplies, delivering an order, on the job, or simply taking a lunch break, Keeley's van is recognizable from the moment you see it coming!

This van has traveled from Bowling Green to Manchester, from Lebanon to Springfield, from Columbia to Portland, and miles and miles of the avenues that make up Nashville, TN.

The van is a billboard on wheels that exhibits a few of Keeley's talents. Mind you, this is just a narrow scope of the man's abilities. It's a way of showing his potential customers who he is and how to contact him. Or, if you already know him, it's a way of making you say "Wow! Look what he's done now!"

My favorite story involving this van came on a cold Friday in March. I received a call from Keeley, saying he had blown out a tire across town, and needed a ride to get a new one. I told him I'd be there as soon as possible, and mentioned that I was incredibly sorry that this happened.

His response?

"Hey, you gotta look at the positive. I get to park my "billboard" out next to a high-traffic area. That's free advertising!"
